What we build
Luminous CRM is a WhatsApp customer engagement platform built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform. It gives a business one shared team inbox, approved-template broadcast campaigns, WhatsApp Forms that open inside the chat, a client database that builds itself, and an AI agent that answers from the business's own documents, all on the business's own WhatsApp number. It is built by Luminous Technologies in Kampala, Uganda, and sold as one plan at UGX 200,000 a month with unlimited team members, contacts and messages.
Where we come from
Luminous Technologies is a software company in Kampala, Uganda, founded by Shadrack Muwanguzi. Luminous CRM launched publicly in July 2023 as a WhatsApp-based marketing and customer engagement platform for businesses that had outgrown one phone: clinics, financial services, retailers, schools, agencies and anyone with a team answering the same number.
We build for the market we live in. The product is priced in Ugandan shillings, paid by Mobile Money or card, and supported over WhatsApp, the same channel our customers use to serve theirs.

Meta's rules, enforced for you
The 24-hour window, template approval, marketing opt-outs, per-number rate limits and the per-user marketing cap are checked before a message is sent, not after a complaint.
An AI agent that does not invent
The agent answers only from the material you upload, sends your own fallback message when it has nothing, and hands over to a person on request.
One plan, nothing metered
Unlimited team members, contacts, messages, campaigns and forms for UGX 200,000 a month. The only metered thing is AI replies, and 2,000 a month are included.
